Because of Louise’s interest in pattern and colour she is drawn to fabrics. She delights in fabrics luminous colour and dyed felts have vivid and intense colour. To Louise felt or any form of colour is just another pallet to choose from. It is no different than oils or acrylics, except that it has its own unique qualities that can be used and manipulated for a particular image.
