Workshops
With an obsessive need to accumulate direct experience Louise has immersed herself in mediums potential and attributes and has focused on gaining skills. Experimental and inquisitive she has developed an array of techniques and is therefore able to offer advice and expertise on a variety of mediums and processes.
Held at her very well equipped Gallery & Studio in Buxton where Louise is generous with her knowledge, studio equipment and facilities.
Structured workshops are held and you are also very welcome to request focus on a particular issue or element.
All workshops can be tailored to groups or individuals. If you want to really immerse yourself in the generosity of these techniques then two or three day courses can be arranged.
The workshops in Louise’s studio run form 10.00am to 4.30pm. Most materials and lunch is provided with refreshments and biscuits served all day. The cost of a lesson is £100.00 for the day. Each lesson is restricted to only six customers per lesson so that Louise can give tuition focused on each person’s needs.

Online workshops
The online workshop will include mark making, tone, colour, shape, composition, perspective and more. Louise will provide 6 videos with accompanying notes for reference and reminders. The videos will be available to you for three months and the notes will be a pdf that you can download and keep. There will be assignments and the opportunity for feedback and continued support.
Mentoring & one-to-one
Mentoring or one to one sessions can be very useful ensuring objective insight and greater clarity of an artists practice. It can help you to find solutions to barriers, to play to your strengths to realise focus enabling you to achieve your goals.

Louise is able to offer guidance and mentoring both on the techniques that she has mastered and advice on how to develop a sustainable practice.
